POTS YOGA
Sarah and Jill are offering a series of classes to help add mobility and various exercises to help alleviate symptoms of POTS as well as help improve your activity level. Each session costs $30. Here is the link for the upcoming session. Sign up fast though, we can only accomidate 15 people per session! Please bring your own mat.
The first class is on March 29th, 2025 and it will include a slow flow in an entirely flat laying position and educate patients on breathing techniques that are used to decrease heart rate and calm the autonomic nervous system.
Our second class is set for April 5, 2025 at 11 am!
There are many benefits to yoga classes including but not limited to: activation of the parasympathetic nervous system ("rest and digest" system), building core strength and stability, immune function improvement, and digestive benefits.
APTA Commercial
Our own Michael Reing started in the APTA's commercial for "Physical Therapy - The Solution for Many Physical Challenges, Including Long COVID". Look for him around the 0:34 mark!
Presentations at CSM
Combined Sections Meeting (CSM) is the annual conference hosted by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) that shares some of the newest research and innovations amoung Physical Therapists. Mike Reing was one of the presenters this year with a presentation called "Three Ring Circus: Three Tales of Struggle and Success in Establishing a Niche Private Practice".
Cycle For Survival
One of our Physical Therapist's, Mike Reing and his family participated in Cycle for Survival, a fundraiser to help beat rare cancers.

Reston Sprint Triathlon Relay
Alana Hamilton participated in Reston's Sprint Triathlon Relay. This race is one of the largest triathlon's in Virginia. It hosts 1000 athletes annually and has raised almost $500,000 for charity since founded in 2007. The race was made up of a 400 m swim, 12.4 mile bike ride, and a 5K run.
