Cycle for Survival: Let's beat rare cancer

Cycle for Survival is a national fundraiser and event to help beat rare cancers. Throughout the country, teams gather at a cycling event put together by Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) and Equinox, and bike for 4 hours! During this time, people get to share their stories and remind others why this research is so important. Half the people diagnosed with cancer have rare cancer. These include cancers such as leukemia and lymphoma; thyroid, ovarian, brain, and pancreatic cancers; and all pediatric cancers.

Here at Advantage Physical Therapy, one of the areas our clinic specializes in is oncological rehabilitation. We have worked with amazing patients who fight for their lives and work incredibly hard to build back strength in order to integrate back into normal life. This is one of the reasons we are so proud to work with Cycle for Survival, to support our patients.

Cycle for Survival has raised over $400 million dollars since 2007 to help fund research to try and find a cure for rare cancers. 100% of donations go directly into MSK labs, where researchers have expertise in more than 400 types of cancer. If you are interested in donating, you can click on this link. Thank you for joining our mission to fight rare cancers!
